I took the prompt: Jensen (or Jared) only has relationships that last for about 3 months, then breaks it up because he loves the thrill in the beginning but doesn't see a point in a long-lasting relationship. Jared and Jensen have been friends for a long time (maybe even roommates), but when the "serial dater" falls in love with his best friend it's not so easy to convince him that he doesn't just want to date him for 3 months. Lots of UST and reluctance on the best friend's part. (AU please).
