You are not dumb at all and thanks for the question. I haven't explicitly stated what happened between Jared and Zach... mostly because this story was about Jensen and him seeing Jared for the first time in years.

But I have what happened written down in notes and if I'll get back to working on this story there will be timestamps explaining things. I just don't know when I'll have to time yet. I know it's not the best of explanations but I hope it made things a little clearer for you. Sorry that I confused you. :)
