I'm a bit breathless now. This story was so touching and absolutely amazing. You caught Dean's love for Sam just perfect. I loved the quiet athmosphere of the whole piece and even the hurt it caused while reading. It feels a lot like canon to me - the slow process of understanding and accepting the thing between them and how they had to endure all of it, so they could finally be together in the end.
